Nobody uses the term ‘friendzone’ for getting turned down for sex. People use it when the girl they really like just wants to be friends.

yes, exercising her right to say NO to being in a relationship with you.  you say it’s frustrating as if you then wait around after being rejected trying to think of other ways you can squirm your way out of the friend zone.  if a girl doesn’t want to be romatically involved with you then bloody accept it and move on.  it’s really that simple.
